WELCOME to the EMCM ATP! - Executive Mail Center Manager Annual Training Program
What is the EMCM ATP?
Due to the dynamic nature of the mailing industry, continued education is recommended to maintain a high level of EMCM proficiency. The Executive Mail Center Manager Annual Training Program is an opportunity for EMCM graduates to enhance their credentials each year through the completion of select educational courses.
Students are offered the opportunity to complete coursework and examinations available from the National Center for Employee Development (NCED), the National Postal Forum (NPF) and Postal Customer Councils (PCCs) that will allow them to progress beyond the initial level of certification.
Participants may gain annual advanced EMCM credentials based on points accrued by successful completion of a variety of training sessions. To be eligible for advancement, individuals complete an application and establish an online profile which is maintained on the NCED website to track their progress.
Annual Training Program points are earned and credited to the individual’s online profile. When 20 points or more are earned in a calendar year by a participant, he/she will be issued a document of achievement. Successful students also will receive a new EMCM lapel pin recognizing this achievement. The EMCM graduate list on the USPS website will reflect this new level of accomplishment.
The Annual Training Program is a visible way to show that you are staying on top of today’s vibrant and ever-changing mailing industry.
